The approach

With no editorial experience and a non-existent budget, Overture was out of its depth when it started the production of its first ever magazine. But where most agencies turned a blind eye, we threw the organisation a rubber ring and kept its ambition afloat.

Overture’s goal is to create conversations about how we can take care of each other and the world. So, when the team asked for our help with their publication, we saw it as an opportunity to not only put our creative stamp on it, but to make a real difference.

Drawing inspiration from the words of humanitarians, scientists, entrepreneurs and artists, we worked with Overture to design a magazine that oozed professionalism and beauty. Acting as consultants, we also helped the team structure the content and made sure there was something for everyone, from food and health to technology and ecology.
“Chapel’s work is consistently high quality and creatively innovative.”

The result

On the success of its first magazine, Overture has published two more issues – in print and online. The most recent: ‘A World of Refugees’ has been shortlisted as an Eddie Awards’ Finalist, despite being up against several industry veterans.
